This talk will be about the Google Go language and its ecosystem. It will not be a short course in Go but rather an overview of its interesting parts with respect to other languages such as Java. As concurrency is one of Go's interesting features, I intend to demo a simple program. In addition, I will talk about Go's ecosystem; the online and offline tool set, the available libraries and its development community.
